Musikey generates a unique encrypted musical composition for every user instead of using traditional passwords. Your identity becomes a song rather than a string of characters, providing an alternative authentication method.

The enrollment process creates a scale-constrained melody using cryptographic randomness. Authentication involves reversing the encryption process with your passphrase, followed by a four-dimensional musicality analysis checking harmonic consonance, melodic smoothness, rhythmic regularity, and scale adherence. The system includes security measures where five authentication failures cause the credential to self-destruct by being overwritten with random data.

The encryption process uses a cascaded PBKDF2 + scrypt pipeline sealed with double-layer AES-256-GCM encryption. All cryptographic operations run on native platform APIs with zero runtime dependencies, ensuring robust security implementation.
